Monitors today go at least to 2560x1600, with many people having more than one monitor --- suppose I had a multi-screen desktop manager and wanted to show it managing 3 screens -- in 640x480 -- eh? tiny?
How about http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/109/compositeb.png/
(this was the image I tried to use)...
(I'd show a thumb, but this forum doesn't seem to have forum or html syntax for input)... and I doubt that most people would be able to interpret a uuencoded thumbnail... (?) ;-)
Why not allow users to decide what size and how many, and if file space is the issue, put a limit on that and for content over that size, we can use our gmail account (or whatever... just using them as an example of a space with generous space allotments), but even imageshack allows up to 10MB/image on a free account, which is over 30 times the size limit here...
--- am new to trying to manage webpage stuff, so forgive me if I'm ignorant, but it might also be useful to allow more flexibility in webpage design (to accomodate such images, for example) ;-)
