Rationale
Problem:
As a user, I want to highlight part of a file and then Find text that occurs only within the highlighted part. Reason: I find this an invaluable feature of the Eclipse IDE editor where, I guess, there is a two-level selection. You can select in the file and when you Ctrl-F (Find), you can search within the selection and your search term is also selected. The original selection remains the scope of the Find. |
